Welcome!

Looks like you’ve found my website!

This is a place for you to find out more about my past, present and hopeful future.

Three months ago I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in romance languages and religious studies. While my degrees reveal some of my loves for language, philosophy and logic, I took a heavy course load in the UNC School of Journalism and Mass Communication as well as the UNC-CH Department of Physics and Astronomy. This exposure to a variety of fields developed my skill levels both abstractly and practically. Nothing came easy at Chapel Hill, but after a lot of trial and error, I graduated honorably from the oldest (and best!) public university in the nation. I can now offer an incredibly diverse repertoire of knowledge and my work ethic to succeed in the business world.

One of my passions is flying. I started flying when I was 16 and soon became the youngest female pilot in the state of North Carolina. I think I still hold the record! Seven years later, I am flight training for my commercial/multi-engine license. You can read more about my aviation story on the “Flying” page.

Put the two together and you have my current, full-time job: marketing and advertising specialist at FlyCarolina Aviation based in Charlotte, NC. FlyCarolina has 5 locations around the area at the Gastonia, Rock Hill, Monroe, Concord and Charlotte airports. We are a Full 135 charter operator and offer both aircraft co-ownership and management services. We also run four Part-141 flight schools, offer over 30 aircraft in our flying club and have a maintenance and avionics (Garmin-dealer & Cirrus Service Center) facility in Gastonia, NC. Working to promote FlyCarolina's charter division and general aviation operations is my task at hand. Plus I get to fly!

Feel free to look around and contact me if you have any questions.

Blessings!

Olivia
